 Steven E. Connor
Making the move from a “self-employed entrepreneur” to Business Owner as a Relationship & Communication Catalyst, Steven Connor knows first hand the challenges of stepping outside one’s comfort zone to create the life of your dreams.
Communication has always been extremely important in Steven’s life, both personally and professionally. Having 25 years of experience in leadership positions, he believes and teaches that human development is a process—it’s not a quick fix. His quest to understand and master the art of communicating more powerfully and effectively in relationships inspired him to become a Certified Life Coach and Relationship Expert. Steven possesses quite a tool box designed to help his client’s breakthrough their barriers, and one of the most powerful is the Enneagram, which he’s been administering and interpreting for years with great results for his clients and teams.
Steven has worked with 1000’s businesses, organizations and individuals in teaching methods to improve their relationships and communications. Steven believes -
“Once you tap into this limitless power of self-transformation, the only question remaining is how far you want it to take you. This path is available to everyone, but is only taken by those who select themselves. If this invitation speaks to you now, it probably has before, and most likely won’t go away. Now is the time to take the leap and enjoy the journey.”
Why did Steven shift his focus to coaching women?
“I am the oldest of four children that my mother raised without financial or emotional support. In witnessing some of her challenges, I knew by the time I was 16 that I wanted to make a significant difference. Women are absolutely incredible but often under appreciated, and my mission is to shine a light on their pathway, in how they can live more fulfilling, meaningful and lovable lives.”
More than just a Speaker, Author & Coach
Steven delivers the message that will touch the hearts and souls of women (and men), regardless of culture, age or previous life experiences. His one-on-one and group coaching services range from facilitating dynamic workshops, bringing about conscious self-awareness, identifying communication styles, and improving life/work balance. His style is interactive, playful, spontaneous, and empowering. Using his keen intuition and humor, he elicits the apparent and not-so-apparent questions, desires, visions and strengths from participants. Steven is the CEO and founding principal of Unconditional Self Empowerment, LLC in Phoenix Arizona.
Steven began writing poetry about love and spirituality at the early age of 16. His passion for understanding self-awareness, relationships and communication grew stronger after graduating from the University of Findlay with a degree in Psychology. Early in his career, he was a commissioned sales professional for a national organization in southern California. By the age of 27 he was promoted to lead a team in Honolulu, Hawaii; two years later was promoted to lead a region in Phoenix, Arizona; he concluded an 18 year career with the company as a Divisional Vice President.
He currently lives in Phoenix, Arizona with his daughter and son. He enjoys the mountains, the beach, music, and his passion for writing continues to flourish. He is the author of “The 9-Personalities of Love and Communication™ - The Enneagram” (Available October 10, 2009). He’s also completing his inspirational essays “Eyes of Love” (Available December 1, 2009).
“When two people are truly present to each other, love naturally arises. It does not matter whether they have been lifelong friends or have just met. Love is something that cannot be won or lost, because it is always available—but only to the degree that we are present and therefore receptive to it.” Steven’s personal motto is: “Define yourself based on your vision, not your history. Change takes time, breakthroughs happen in an instant!”
